well.. well.. well look who is back! its meeeee YAY! :) Now that i have been married and settling down equally fast! i started improving on my cooking skills... here is a small and simple recipe that my mum taught me... this is my version of "Dhaal :P" i am sure this is not new to all... but i jus using my space to vaunt about "me" obviously ;) but i am also showing to this world my "Culinary" skills
From the books of Chef MV....
Ingredients
2 Beans ( cut the into fairly long pieces)
2 Potatos ( cut them into cubes)
1 carrot ( dice them into small cubes)
3 onions
2 cloves of garlic (optional)
2 green chillis for spice
Oil for sauteing Onions
Salt to taste
Green Gram dhal (paasi parupu) One cup
this is how u make it...
First Par boil the Potatos,Carrot and beans.then cook the Green gram dhal in the cooker for 3 whistle. while the dhal is cooking, Saute the Par boiled Veggies first push in the onions,chillis and garlic followed by beans,potato,carrot.... after the dhaal is cooked smash the dhaal into a paste form and add it to the veggies keeps stirring for 5 mins and also add salt. Granish using coriander... serve it hot! :)
